Within crypto aesthetics, a thing I think about a lot is: Why is it that I love the retro aesthetics so much? Shouldn't it get past that.
Most of the crypto projects I see not doing a retro aesthetic just opt for boring corpoate, so that's not very cool. I don't know what the new thing would be but those are the two option.
Old, pixelated, crunchy.
Clean but dull in blacks or blues... like a consulting firm.
